10 Days Kailash Mansarovar Yatra Itinerary (Overland)

Day 01: Kathmandu – Kyirong

Drive from Kathmandu to Kyirong Border, complete immigration formalities, and continue drive to Kyirong town (approx. 2 hours).
Overnight: Pilgrim Inn

Day 02: Kyirong – Saga

Early morning drive from Kyirong to Saga. Gradual ascent helps proper acclimatization.
Overnight: Lungbu Khangri

Day 03: Saga – Acclimatization Day

Full day in Saga for acclimatization and preparation for high altitude travel.
Overnight: Lungbu Khangri

Day 04: Saga – Lake Mansarovar

Drive approx. 400 km to the sacred Lake Mansarovar. Enjoy breathtaking views and spiritual surroundings.
Overnight: Guesthouse near Mansarovar

Day 05: Lake Mansarovar – Darchen

Morning rituals and holy bath (optional). Drive 48 km to Darchen, the base camp of Mount Kailash.
Overnight: Yihao Hotel

Day 06: Darchen – Dirapuk (Kailash Parikrama Day 1)

Drive to Yama Dwar and start the first day of Kailash Kora. Trek approx. 14–18 km (6–7 hours) to Dirapuk.
Overnight: Guesthouse

Day 07: Dirapuk – Dolma La – Zuthulpuk (Parikrama Day 2)

The most challenging and sacred day. Trek 22 km (8–9 hours) crossing Dolma La Pass (5,645m) and visit Gauri Kund.
Overnight: Guesthouse at Zuthulpuk

Day 08: Zuthulpuk – Darchen – Saga (Parikrama Day 3)

Complete final 10 km trek to Darchen. Drive approx. 8 hours back to Saga.
Overnight: Lungbu Khangri

Day 09: Saga – Kyirong Town

Drive approx. 3 hours back to Kyirong town. Rest and relaxation after the long journey.
Overnight: Pilgrim Inn

Day 10: Kyirong – Kathmandu

Early morning drive to Kyirong border, complete exit formalities, and return to Kathmandu. Tour ends with divine blessings.
